Mia Feuer’s STRESS CONE

Reception and Artist’s Lecture
Thursday, February 16th | 5-7pm

Mia borrows from industry, mechanism, and the natural world to strike a balance between what we create and cast off or destroy, and what nature finally claims for itself. Lecture will begin at 5:30pm. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

Exploring the Senses Beyond the Frame

This exhibition will explore ways in which artists have engaged in ranges of sensory perceptions and experiences, through works representing a variety of media, cultures, and historical periods. Curated by Senior Art History Majors, under the direction of Elizabeth Lee, Assistant Professor of Art History.

Ethan Grosso ’11: Restless

Exhibiting drawings on paper and ceramics, as well as, ceramic sculpture, Grosso, the A&AH Department’s Post-Bac for 2011-2012, explores anxieties and desires related to overpopulation and competition for resources.

Reception and Artist’s Lecture
Monday, February 27 | 5-7pm

Julia will discuss her ceramic works. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibition will be open through March 9th, 2012.
