Caterina Morelli presents her new paintings inspired by her life in Carlisle. With a particular mixed media techniques, her canvas represent different moments of the town that she has taken walking around. In every canvas she builds up a kind of reality filtered by human eye, experience, emotion and memories. Carlisle is transfigured in a town perceived from new ephemeral gaze in which the light and the air shape the landscape. Exhibition will run through April 13th. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

Benedict will present a new group of paintings that draw upon a diverse assortment of cultural references, including The Firesign Theatre’s 1969 album, How Can you be in Two Places at Once when you’re not Anywhere at All, Better Homes and Gardens journals, group yoga classrooms, Earthship Biotexture, Max Ernst, wave-particle duality, Gnostic mysticism, and the rabbits of Cumberland County. Exhibition will run through April 7th. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
